Central University of Kerala IQAC FUNCTIONS

The IQAC shall have the following functions

  1. Promote a culture of professionalism in CUK.

  2. Formulate and apply quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the University.

  3. Facilitating the creation of an ideal learning ecosystem conducive for quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.

  4. Taking feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on the academic and administrative environment of CUK.

  5. Tapping various informations on the parameters of quality of higher education and probe the faculty members to involve in the same.

  6. Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.

  7. Promotion of a culture of documentation of the various programmes/activities of the University, leading to quality improvement.

  8. Acting as a nodal agency of the University for Coordinating quality-related Activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.

  9. Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.

  10. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC.
